Wendigo Design started with a simple frustration: fire pits that didn’t last, didn’t function properly, or didn’t feel worth owning.
Too many products were designed to photograph well rather than work well — thin materials, poor airflow, awkward proportions, and finishes that didn’t age gracefully once exposed to heat, weather, and time.
At the same time, fire itself hadn’t changed.
People still gather around it to cook, talk, sit quietly, and mark time outdoors. What had changed was the quality of what surrounded it.
Wendigo Design was formed to close that gap.
The goal was not to reinvent fire, but to design around it honestly — using solid materials, restrained forms, and practical details that respect how fire behaves and how people actually use it.
Every design begins with function:

This is not mass‑market outdoor ware.

Wendigo BBQ Gear — Terms & Conditions
1. General
By purchasing or using Wendigo BBQ Gear products, including fire pits, BBQ accessories, and apparel, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Wendigo Design reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice.
2. Product Use & Safety
All Wendigo fire pits and BBQ products are intended for outdoor use only.
Always follow local fire safety regulations and use products on a stable, non‑flammable surface.
Keep children and pets at a safe distance from open flames and hot surfaces.
Never leave a lit fire pit or grill unattended.
Wendigo Design is not liable for injury, property damage, or misuse of products outside their intended purpose.
3. Materials & Durability
Fire pits are made from high‑grade steel and designed to withstand high temperatures.
Natural weathering, rust, and patina may occur over time — this is considered normal and part of the product’s aesthetic.
Regular maintenance (cleaning, oiling, and covering) is recommended to extend product life.
4. Warranty
Wendigo fire pits and BBQ gear come with a 12‑month manufacturer’s warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, or exposure to harsh environments beyond normal outdoor conditions.
Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
5. Returns & Exchanges
Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase for unused items in original packaging.
Custom or made‑to‑order fire pits are non‑refundable unless defective.
Shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty.
6. Liability
Wendigo Design shall not be held responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use its products. Users assume full responsibility for safe operation and maintenance.
7. Intellectual Property
All designs, logos, product names, and imagery associated with Wendigo BBQ Gear are the property of Wendigo Design and may not be reproduced or used without written permission.
8. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be handled in accordance with Australian consumer law.
